Faith & Reflection, Family & Friends
I received a disturbing phone call this morning from my Mother. I immediately knew something was wrong by her tone and demeanor.
She went on to explain that my uncle Eddie (her brother) was in a serious motorcycle accident and was in the ER room. I guess some moron blew a traffic light and blind sided him around 35 mph in the middle of an intersection. Thankfully he wasn’t hit straight on, and somewhat at a side angle. He was tossed from the bike (which is totaled now) and knocked unconscious until we awoke with people standing over top of him.
I called his room last night, checked up, and he seemed in good spirits. He only has a broken shoulder blade, and lots of cuts and bruises. It’s unbelievable that he WASN’T wearing a helmet and was fortunate enough to walk away with just those injuries. We all feel very blessed…

Faith & Reflection, Random & Misc
Turned a quarter of a century today – yep, the big ol’ 25.
“So Eric, what have you learned over the last 25 years?” Well, here’s my take on it so far…
- expect the unexpected
- patience is truly a virtue
- achieving a balanced life is a continuing process
- being closed minded prevents one’s growth
- follow your heart
- knowledge is power
- building a successful business takes unbelievable perseverance, money, the right people, passion, & a few breaks
- art extends into every facet of life, experiment and try as much as your brain & wallet can handle
- trust in yourself & the people you love
- once a Bears fan, ALWAYS a Bears fan
- and finally, tendinitis SUCKS!

Faith & Reflection, Music / Movies / TV / Entertainment

Comes out today, will be viewing tomorrow evening. Attentively watched the “Making of” Sunday night on some random cable station I didn’t even know existed.
Thank you Mel Gibson, I look forward to this vision that you’ve dedicated your heart & soul to.
