Since I’ve purchased my Wrangler (a little over a year now), I fortunately haven’t had to put much money into it. But, before I start a roadtrip at the end of next month, I’ll be dumping some serious cash into a new softop and tires.
My softop, well lets just say it doesn’t function like a normal softop any more. Rips, tears, scratched windows, & the plastic molding that seals in the cockpit is completely gone on the drivers side.
As you can see, the middle tread on the back tires is pretty much flat. Making sharp turns in wet conditions is always exciting, yet dangerous. Been researching some Mickey Thompson Tires (Baja MTX 31×10.5×15) online at Quadratec – a pretty sweet all terrain tire. Goodyear’s Wrangler MT/R tire is also in the running, it’s a much more aggressive tire than the MTX’s, which has pros and cons.
