T-Mac is BACK

Thanks to a buddy of mine, I was able to attend the highly anticipated Magic game tonight. T-Mac brought his Yao, and the rest of his Rockets to a packed TD Waterhouse Center.

I kind of miss those days of having one of the best players in the world on a team you’re cheering for. He makes shots that players aren’t supposed to make – it’s quite unbelievable at times. Like fadeaway three’s from the corner of the court with two hands in your face. Yea, those type of shots. Those are the shots where you casually turn to whomever is sitting next to you, shake your head slowly in unison, and let a slight smirk raise from from the corners of your mouth. There were plenty of those tonight, as T-Mac got the last word and exited with a Win.

The crowd may have shown you otherwise, but we ALL miss those “shots” Tracey. Francis has his moments, but there will only be one T-Mac.

Orlando Magic fired Doc Rivers today

Johnny Davis, previously an assitant, steps in to take over. You gotta feel for the Doc, lots of injuries w/ a young inexperienced roster has really been the key reason for the 1-10 start. Change is imminent in the NBA, and the nature of the business IS to pin point a single problem instead of working a solution for the multiple problems that arise on a team.

As Metallica said it once, “Sad but True.”

I watched T-Mac in a game against the Denver Nuggets last week, and talk about being on fire. The kid was unstoppable, I was bouncing off the walls in awe with the points he kept pouring in (especially in the 4th). I just kept thinking about his latest Adidas commercial, with the trailing T-Mac’s showing off his multiple moves while stating he’ll “give an education to all the new kids coming into the NBA.” It’s got this catchy hip-hip loop that you can’t get out of your head, and the cinematography alone is enough to get ya excited.
